Just inside the main entry and occupying the original first-floor parlor of the 1830’s Butler House, Parlor Suite blends historic character with relaxed village comfort. Once a gracious receiving room, the space now welcomes solo travelers and couples seeking a distinctive stay in the center of Stowe Village.

Original wide-plank pine floors, a gas fireplace set into the home’s historic hearth, and expansive windows overlooking the village create a light filled atmosphere that feels both comfortable and deeply rooted in the history of Stowe Village.   Whether you’re easing into the morning with coffee and a book, unwinding by the fire after a day outdoors, or simply enjoying the rhythm of village life just outside your window, Parlor Suite invites you to slow down and settle in.

Note: Parlor Suite is just inside the main entry of The Butler House and shares the hallway with Butler’s Pantry (open Thursday - Monday).  Morning activity from Butler’s Pantry may be audible, making Parlor Suite ideal for early risers or those who enjoy the rhythm of village life.  While most guests are not disturbed by foot traffic and ambient sounds, we share this upfront for full transparency.
